Black Rice & Super Berries Scrub Mask

Is it something to rave about or is it a reject?

I have been using this product for more than a month now and I feel that it's the right amount of time to finally give my verdict to this organic skin care product from Krave Minerale. But first, let's look at its claims. 

According to Krave: It's a fast whitening whitening scrubmask made of multi berries and fruit acids that gently sloughs off dead skin cells and helps reveal healthier fairer skin.

Fast whitening? Nope I don't think so. This product didn't work for me as a whitening solution. No change in the skin tone of my face at all. I have used this both on my face and my underarm but no noticeable difference at all. Maybe it has to be used with other products of the same line to make it more effective. I didn't use it daily though because it's a scrub and I believe it would be too harsh to use it daily. 

Product description: It's creamy and really smells so good. Krave was right in saying that it's soooo sweet smelling. You will really smell like berries even after your bath. The scrub is made from black rice and the scrub is not that fine but coarser than other scrubs I have tried. In addition, I feel like it lacks granules. I think that Krave should add more granules to make the scrubbing a more satisfying experience. 

My verdict: This product is something that is of average to me. I won't repurchase it at all because it simply doesn't satisfy my want for a scrub mask. It's highly moisturising which is great for people with dry skin. I have an oily skin. Your skin will feel smooth right after using it because of the creaminess of the product and not because of the scrub itself I think. It doesn't leave that feeling after you have exfoliated your skin with a face scrub. So I think this is best for people who have sensitive skin and ageing dry skin. 

Oh and I forgot to say that it's affordable because it's priced at only Php200 per 70g tub. 

You must renumber though that I have a totally different skin type and what might or might not work for me, may have a different effect on your skin. This is my personal opinion and I bought this product with my own money.
